General Manager

BuildWitt is on a mission to make the Dirt World a better place by building the people, leaders, and companies of the heavy civil industry through tools, storytelling, and community.

Our team is hiring two high-performing General Managers to oversee sales for half the United States—one for the east and one for the west. These are mission-critical roles for two people who want to make a substantial impact on an industry they love.These roles are remote positions that require travel. We estimate you’ll be traveling 25% or more of the time.

As General Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

• Leading a team of account managers, business development reps, and customer success reps to deliver outstanding solutions and service.
• Achieving annual software revenue goals through new sales, expansions, and renewals.
• Becoming a trusted resource in the industry, providing meaningful solutions to all aspects of the challenges Dirt World executives face.

What you bring to the table:

• About 15 years of experience in heavy civil.
• You’re strong in people, operations, and the systems that support those who build the Dirt World. You’re humble, hungry, and smart.
• You’ve got deep experience in heavy civil operations, estimating, and construction accounting principles, with a thorough understanding of how they work together.
• You also have significant hands-on experience with accounting and job costing systems, and understand best practices and strategy.
