Junior Accountant

eCarsTrade operates a digital platform for the B2B resale of ex-lease cars. We have customers across Europe, and via our proprietary platform we sell a combination of our own stock and consignment vehicles through auctions and fixed prices.
To support our continued growth, we are looking for an Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. This is an entry-level role designed for someone eager to start a career in accounting and learn from experienced professionals. Responsibilities

• Processing incoming and outgoing invoices (accounts payable & receivable), payment matching

• Preparing and registering payments

• Supporting VAT registration by ensuring correct VAT coding and documentation

• Maintaining accurate records in our accounting software

• General administrative support for contracts and finance-related documentation

Requirements

• Able to communicate in English (both written and spoken)

• 1–2 years of relevant accounting or administrative experience

• Basic but applied knowledge of accounting principles

• Understanding of VAT principles is strongly preferred, if possible EU VAT principles

• Familiarity with Exact Online or similar accounting software is a plus

• Proficiency in Excel and willingness to learn digital tools
